Since September last year, 100 more children and families will have heard the words..

 “I'm afraid it’s neuroblastoma”. 

For every new family, this moment is just as frightening as the last, as all the uncertainty and worry starts to cloud in. 

For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2026, we are stepping up in solidarity with these families to show support, spread awareness and raise vital funds for neuroblastoma research. 

We invite you to join our 100 Miles in September Challenge 2026.

You can walk, run, cycle, swim, hop, skip, jump…

1 mile for each child diagnosed with neuroblastoma in the last 12 months.

By taking on our 100-miles challenge, you'll help raise further awareness of the journey these families face, and help fund vital research into more effective, less-gruelling treatments.

 Research that could save lives, reduce long-term side effects, and bring us closer to a cure.

What do I need to do?

1. Clock 100 miles throughout September
(walk, run, swim, cycle or mix it up! It’s roughly 3.3 miles / 5.3km / 7,000 steps a day.)

2. Set your fundraising goal
Choose a target of £150, £500 or £1,000 - every penny will help fund neuroblastoma research

3. Build your team 
Invite friends, family and colleagues to join you and be in with a chance of winning one of our 2026 Recognition Awards.
